SADM1500 - In progress

Overview
The SADM 1500 (Solar Array Drive Mechanism) is under development by COMAT for satellites with up to 1500W by solar array wing. This very compact mechanism allows accommodation on small satellites with an integrated slip ring. This equipment will be delivered with embedded plug & play electronics.
A first version, SADM 400, is currently manufactured by COMAT and handles 400W per solar array wing.
