One of the key features of the Constellation On Board Computer is its fully redundant architecture, with robust failure handling and radiation mitigation capabilities. This ensures a high level of reliability, even in harsh space environments. With a radiation dosage of 30 krad and a mass of 6.7 kg, this on board computer is ideal for long duration missions in LEO. Additional shielding can be added for even longer mission lifetimes.

The computer has a steady state power consumption of 30 W and an operating temperature range of -20 C to +60 C. It is designed to have a lifetime of 10+ years in LEO without additional shielding.

In addition, the Constellation On Board Computer features a highly performant processor and extensive I/O support that can be tailored to meet specific customer needs. The computer also has a fully cross-strapped dual redundant architecture with hot-redundant reconfiguration functions, allowing for fully user-defined reconfiguration sequences.

Customers can opt to include the NavRIX Integral, an optional integrated GNSS receiver that supports GPS and Galileo. With an accuracy of down to 1m 3D RMS, this receiver is highly reliable and accurate.

The Constellation On Board Computer is also fully compliant with the CCSDS format for telemetry and telecommand chains, including optional AES256 encryption/decryption and authentication.
