Antrix's Solar Panel Sun Sensor is a single-axis sun sensor with proven survivability in applications involving large temperature excusions. The sensor has good accuracy and linearity. The sensor head contains an optical block with slit and triangular pattern. The detector used is a solar cell. The output from the sensor is current, which can be processed to get sun angle information.
